Schedule 1 Tips and Tricks | Beginner’s Guide

The popular simulator lets you create your own drug empire. In our Schedule 1 tips and tricks, we show you how to grow profitable crops and avoid unpleasant confrontations with the police. We make it easy for you to get started and explain how to sell efficiently.

1) How to get off to a good start in the game

In classic Breaking Bad style, you begin with a camper van. It’s parked off the road, so no one notices you, allowing you to start your first grow undisturbed. Inside your camper, you’ll find all the essential items needed to turn a profit.

Water your existing plants so that they grow, and you can harvest them. Then pack the harvest into standard bags. Now, it’s essential to remove all the items and furniture from the camper. During the first series of quests, your camper will be destroyed by gang members.

With a click of the right mouse button, you can move all items to your inventory. Then take everything to the pallets in front of Dan’s Hardware. There, you can store up to ten different items and save them from the upcoming explosion.

2) Buy the golden skateboard

A skateboard lets you move quickly and comfortably through the city in Schedule 1. The golden one is the best choice among the five available types. To get it, go near Bud’s Bar and look for the Shred Shack container.

The cheapest skateboard costs $75, while the standard board is $250. The lightweight version and the cruiser will cost you $500. With a price of $1,500, the golden skateboard seems ridiculously expensive. But we promise: it’s totally worth the investment. The faster you ride, the easier the rest of the game will be.

3) Stay out of the way of the police

The natural enemy of drug dealers is the police. If they catch you in Schedule 1, they will confiscate all your drugs and fine you. But there is a way to effectively avoid them: memorize their patrol routes.

The cops always follow the same predictable routes through Hyland Point. At nine o’clock in the evening, the curfew starts, and you can be prosecuted even if you’re not carrying anything illegal. So, always try to stay out of their view. This is where your fast, golden skateboard comes in handy.

4) Collect trash

It might seem strange, but trash is actually quite valuable in the world of Schedule 1. Collect it by pressing the E key, then dispose of it in one of the green recycling boxes. Each of these actions will earn you some money that you can use to grow your empire.

Fortunately, trash can be found on nearly every corner, and full trash cans can be emptied into black bags, which are gladly accepted by the green Cash for Trash boxes. It’s best to buy a pair of trash tongs for $20 to make trash pickup more efficient. This allows you to collect multiple items at once.

Look specifically in containers to find larger amounts of trash, and also open locked storage containers. These usually contain a lot of discarded items that can earn you cash.

5) Deliver your goods at night

As mentioned earlier, there is a curfew in Hyland Point. Consequently, illegal substances are especially in demand at night. Your customers are willing to pay a 20 percent surcharge for deliveries during late hours. You should definitely take advantage of this and plan your deliveries to occur within this timeframe.

Among all our Schedule 1 tips and tricks, this one will help you earn the most extra cash over time. Whenever you can, take advantage of the so-called curfew bonus. But be careful not to get caught by the police.

6) Pickpocketing pays off

As a criminal, you shouldn’t be too proud to engage in petty crime in Schedule 1. Sneak up behind unsuspecting passers-by by pressing the Ctrl key and then select Pickpocket with E. Now all you have to do is press the space bar at the right moment, and money or items will be transferred from the person’s pocket to your inventory.

If you miss the right moment to steal, people will notice your attempt and get angry. In the worst case, it could lead to a fight. So, try to internalize the timing for the space bar to pull off perfect crimes.

7) Quality over quantity

Only satisfied customers are good customers. To ensure that free samples lead to sales and keep your customers satisfied, you need high-quality products. Start fertilizing your plants early and hang your harvest on a drying rack. Avoid rushing growth and give your plants enough time to produce high-quality weed.

Marijuana is categorized into five quality levels (ranging from trash to standard to heavenly). A fast grow without fertilizer will produce the lowest level. To reach the highest level, you need to follow all of the points mentioned.

8) More Schedule 1 tips

  • Cranky Frank is the only customer you can deliver to more than once a day.
  • Remember that your ATM deposit limit is $10,000 per week.
  • For large purchases, use your car’s loading area and drive directly to the black market.
  • You don’t need a gun. Save your money and focus on keeping your customers happy.
  • If you’re on the run, it’s best to hide in containers with lids.
  • You’ll see a free baseball bat on the basketball court that you can simply pick up.
  • Construct your plantations to maximize space efficiency and grow as many plants as possible.
  • Make deals yourself occasionally to earn double experience points.
