Watch the Clock to Not Pass Out
In Starsand Island, your day ends at 02:00 AM. If you’re not in a bed or tent by then, you’ll pass out and wake up with only 50 percent of your stamina. That makes farming, fishing, and other stamina-heavy tasks much harder the next day.

Check the clock to the right of the mini-map and plan ahead. Around 11:00 PM, head home to be safe.
Keep this in mind:
- Eat food to restore stamina if needed
- Sit down to rest when you’re low
- Avoid passing out multiple days in a row
If you collapse for three nights in a row, you’ll lose an entire day to recovery.
Try Each Job
In Starsand Island, you’re not meant to stick to just one path. The game offers five main professions, each unlocking new systems, tools, and ways to earn money. If you ignore one, you’ll slow yourself down later.

The core professions are:
- Crafting for turning raw materials into useful items
- Farming for growing crops on your land
- Fishing in rivers, lakes, and the ocean
- Ranching to raise animals and collect resources
- Exploration to unlock combat tools for the Moonlit Forest
Each profession has its own multi-stage quest chain. Progressing through them unlocks new blueprints, mechanics, and income sources. Don’t neglect side activities like cooking or bug-catching either. In the long run, balancing all jobs gives you more flexibility, better materials, and a much stronger island economy.
Transportation and Fast Travel
Starsand Island is bigger than it first looks. If you run everywhere, you’ll waste half your day just getting from A to B. The sooner you unlock proper transportation, the more time you have for farming, fishing, or questing.

Start with the Crafting profession. Talk to Zerine and progress the Become an Apprentice Crafter quest. This eventually unlocks useful options such as:
- Skateboard
- Roller skates
- Hoverboard later on
The skateboard is especially great because it’s free once crafted.

If you prefer rentals, you can:
- Rent bikes found around town
- Rent animal mounts at Green Pasture Ranch
Both can be summoned anywhere, saving tons of time.
For real convenience, complete Solana’s Building Starsand Station quest. After that, you can build bus stations and fast travel for a small Coin fee. In the Moonlit Forest, you can also travel between camps instantly.
Starsand Island Guide: Make Use of the Apps
Your phone in Starsand Island is basically your survival guide. If you ignore it, you’ll miss upgrades, rewards, and clear direction. Make it a habit to check your apps regularly.

- Island Life app: This is your main progression tracker. It shows your current long-term goals and rewards you with useful unlocks, such as expanding your farm or accessing new features.
- Islandpedia: A collection log for everything you gather. Don’t forget the Stamp Collection at the bottom, as completing entries grants bonus rewards, often extra Coins.
- StarNote app: Think of it as the achievement system. Completing milestones earns you Starsand currency and cosmetic items.
- Workpedia app: Spend your Starsand here to unlock profession perks. Early stamina and farming upgrades make a huge difference.
Find and Complete Treasure Maps
Once you advance in the Exploration profession, treasure hunting becomes one of the most rewarding side activities in Starsand Island. These treasure maps lead you to hidden loot in the Moonlit Forest. While the contents are random, they are almost always worth the trip.

To unlock treasure maps, you need to:
- Start the Crafting profession
- Unlock the Exploration questline with Zephyria
- Craft the Slingshot
- Gain access to the Moonlit Forest
If you haven’t met Zephyria yet, check near the Exploration Club, between Green Meadow and Flower Corridor.
When you find a treasure map in Starsand Island, equip it in your hotbar. An arrow will appear, pointing you toward the buried chest. Follow it, interact with the marked spot, and dig up your reward. Treasure hunting is a great way to earn rare items while exploring.
Check Shops and Charity Bins
Early in Starsand Island, every resource counts. If you’re short on materials or money, don’t overlook the yellow charity bins around town. They often contain surprisingly useful items, including rare crafting materials. Taking items from these bins doesn’t upset anyone. Think of them as a free lost-and-found box.

Shops are also worth checking daily. Prices and offers can change without warning:
- Some items get random discounts
- Occasionally, certain goods are completely free
- Pastelle may hand out two free feed bags per day
Even if you don’t need it right now, grab it if it’s cheap or free. Sooner or later, you’ll be glad you did.
Look for Treasure Chests and Gold Spots
Exploration in Starsand Island always pays off. All around the map, you can find hidden treasure chests packed with blueprints, seeds, crafting materials, and Coins. There are over 50 chests waiting to be discovered, and many are easy to miss.

Keep an eye out in these places:
- Around the sides of houses
- Tucked into corners
- Behind buildings and small obstacles
If you see a glowing gold spot in Starsand Island, don’t ignore it. That starts a small platforming challenge. Touch it, then follow the moving light to the end of its path. If you succeed, a chest will spawn as your reward.

Most of these challenges require careful movement along railings or narrow paths. If you fall, you must restart. Unlocking roller skates makes them much easier.
