The blue exclamation mark next to the person’s profile picture indicates that they have a mission for you. Quests such as donating garrison troops, clearing bandit hideouts, or escorting caravans are the most rewarding.
2) Melting and selling weapons
If you have expendable weapons in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, you can take them to the blacksmith in the nearest town and have them melted. In return, you’ll receive precious metals such as iron or steel. Selling these materials will bring you about ten times the selling price of the items.
You can also buy weapons directly from the vendor and then smelt them. This saves you from having to farm the items.
However, smelting requires coal, which must first be made from hardwood. Hardwood can be purchased from the merchant and can be accessed through the Trade tab in the town you are visiting. For Tier 2 and Tier 3 weapons, you’ll receive precious metals worth up to 400 and 600 denarii, respectively.
3) Tax revenue
Tax revenue is especially interesting later in the game when you have become a great power. This means that you rent out land and receive taxes from the people who use it.
You can even increase this income by using a specific path on the Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord Skill Tree. Village taxes can be increased by a significant percentage, and mine taxes can be increased by an incredible 50%. Since this type of income is passive, tax income should be of particular interest to you, as you can earn large amounts of money without much effort.

7) Get valuable loot in battles
Nothing will bring you more money in Bannerlord than successful battles, especially against kings and nobles. Furthermore, the more experienced the army you fight, the more lucrative the booty after a victory.
You can earn loot worth over 10,000 Denars. If your character doesn’t have any troops yet, you can join a faction or an army. In most cases, you’ll get a share of the loot.
